Ryan Grayce and Deakon

Here we have Ryan Grayce, one of our dog trainers, working with his Belgian Malinois Deakon on several different commands. Deakon can heel forward, backward, and side to side. He can also stay while Ryan walks away. He practices differentiating between some basic commands like sit, stand, and down. Deakon is also able to follow commands while playing with toys. He can drop the toy when asked as well as back up away from it and wait until he is told to come to get it. He also shows how he can protect his owner if needed. When Ryan says “Alert” Deakon begins to bark and does not stop until told.  Even with his back legs raised up against a wall. Deakon sure does know how to listen and follow commands!
